Inspired by traditional Japanese woodblock prints, the composition transforms one of gaming's most iconic confrontations into a dramatic fusion of martial arts, Japanese heritage, and nostalgic pop culture. Against a rain-soaked landscape, the temple's glowing vermilion architecture and distant pagoda create an atmospheric backdrop for the fighters' explosive encounter. A brilliant energy strike illuminates the scene, contrasting with the delicate textures, refined architectural details, and cinematic lighting reminiscent of classical shin-hanga prints. The result is a powerful celebration of rivalry, discipline, and the timeless spirit of Japanese fighting games. ▸ Fine Art Giclée on Artistic Paper - Format: 42 × 28 cm (unframed) - Year: 2025 Kōdo88 is an internationally acclaimed artist celebrated for blending anime, manga, ukiyo-e, shin-hanga, and vintage Japanese aesthetics.
