KOREAN WAR U.S. M3 INFRARED SNIPERSCOPE WITH CASE AND ACCESSORIES. Manufactured by the American Optical Co. in 1951 for use in the Korean War, where these optics saw heavy use, largely mounted to M1 and M2 carbines. This example is accompanied by a correct military hard-sided fitted transit chest with carbine mounting bar, battery box, cables, waterproofed knapsack, literature, and numerous spare parts.
