Kosta Boda - Goran Wärff - Carving, Sans titre - 27 cm - Crystal - 1970

Exceptional and massive sculpture in modernist art glass, designed by the legendary master glassmaker Göran Wärff (1933–2022) for Kosta Boda (Sweden). It is a true studio piece "UNIK" (unique specimen), entirely blown and hand-finished. It features a magnificent pattern of controlled bubbles (bullicante technique) surrounding a central amber/yellow teardrop-shaped inclusion, suspended in crystal that is full and ultra-pure. Its organic shape creates superb optical and magnifying effects depending on the light. • Authenticity: Entirely hand-engraved under the base: "Kosta Wärff unik 767 B". The original silver "Kosta Sweden" sticker is still perfectly present on the front. • Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No chips, no cracks, no deep scratches. Some micro-scratches and signs of wear from rubbing without snag on the sides and under the base. • Height: 27 cm • Weight: 3.11 kg (very heavy full crystal)
