KPM Berlin Openwork Porcelain Plates with Floral Hand-Painting – Set of 3 A set of three antique porcelain plates made by KPM Berlin (Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur), dating from the period between 1914 and 1945. The set includes two round plates with a scalloped rim and one octagonal plate. All pieces feature a fine, openwork basketweave border (Durchbrucharbeit) decorated with gold accents. The centers are hand-painted with detailed polychrome floral bouquets and scattered blossoms (Weichmalerei). Marks: Each plate bears the underglaze blue scepter mark, the red overglaze imperial orb Malerei mark with "KPM" underneath, and handwritten painter's numbers. Condition: Two plates: (Octagonal and round with singular flower) Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or restorations. The openwork is fully intact, and the gold decoration shows only minimal signs of age. One plate: (Round with multiple flowers) Features a small damage/break within the openwork grid of the border.
