Kramer - Parure

Kramer – Frost Rhinestone Necklace & Clip Earrings Demi-Parure – 1950s Kramer demi-parure from the 1950s, consisting of a necklace and a matching pair of clip-on earrings. The necklace features a sequence of faceted rectangular crystals, frost-type, characterized by their opalescent white center and transparent ends. Arranged in pairs, they form an articulated geometric fringe, edged with small light-blue rhinestones set in prongs. The earrings repeat the same frost crystals in a curved composition, outlined with blue rhinestones. The hallmark of this set lies in the contrast between the transparency of the facets, the frosted appearance of the crystal centers, and the sparkle of the blue rhinestones. The silver-toned mounts reinforce this harmony of cool tones. Founded in New York in 1943 by Louis Kramer and his brothers, Kramer Jewelry Creations stood out in the 1950s for its elaborate evening jewelry, its crystal pairings, and the quality of its settings.
