Schweitzer Hieronymi Amati Pestini 1813, complete with original bow and its case, inside the case compartment found packets containing the strings as shown in the photo, conditions as in detailed photos. Brand: Joh. Bapt. Schweitzer as reported on the label Type of instrument/accessories: Violin 4/4 with rigid case and bow Where produced (country): Austria. The label reads Joh. Bapt. Schweitzer, a name associated with Vienna violin-making tradition. Serial number: Not visible / not detected. Color: Amber honey with varnish darkened by age and use. Wood type body/neck: Top plate: European spruce Back: figured maple (flame maple) in two pieces Ribs: figured maple Neck and scroll: maple Fingerboard: ebony (or ebonized wood) Peg type: Black ebony-style pegs.
