Laila Pullinen (1933–2015) Untitled, 1964 Original artwork on paper by the Finnish sculptor and artist Laila Pullinen, created in 1964. Technique: gouache on paper Dimensions of the work: 55 × 40 cm Year: 1964 Signature: signed and dated by hand on the front Provenance: Narciso Art Gallery, Turin; later Private Collection, Milan. On the back is the original label of Narciso Art Gallery of Turin, listing the technical characteristics of the work. This element documents the historical provenance of the piece and will be shown in detail in the photographs. The work is particularly interesting also for its dating: in 1964 Laila Pullinen represented Finland at the XXXII Venice Biennale, placing this work in a significant moment of her artistic activity. The work presents an essential figurative composition and strongly gestural, achieved through broad washes of gouache and fine drawing lines. Conditions: good overall condition considering its age. Light undulations/folds and normal signs of time, clearly visible in the photographs. No undocumented restorations are declared. Sold with the frame shown in the photographs. The photographs of the work, the signature and the Narciso Gallery label constitute an integral part of the description. The work will be carefully protected and shipped with professional packing and tracking.
