René Lalique (1860–1945) Lovebirds Ring Holder in pressed moulded glass Crystal / Satin France, Art Deco A subtle luxury object, this Lalique ring holder, in clear crystal glass with a central opaque satin bird, evokes a delicate scene of two birds entwined. True to Lalique's refined aesthetic, the contrast of surfaces – satin for the bird, translucent for the tray – highlights the master glassmaker's craftsmanship. The piece is signed “Lalique France” on the reverse, a molded signature in the glass, guaranteeing its authenticity. Reference according to Marcilhac, René Lalique – Catalogue raisonné of the glassworks, Paris 2011: no. 1165, p. 388 .Context & singularity Created at the heart of the Art Deco period, this ring holder embodies the elegance of ornamental minimalism, blending utility and poetry. Ideally designed to hold jewelry and rings, it also serves as a refined display piece. Its rarity is matched by the finesse of its execution. Condition Excellent overall condition. No visible damage: the satin glass is intact, the crystal tray is clear, with no notable chips or scratches. This piece is a remarkable collectible, perfect for integration into a sophisticated décor or an exceptional cabinet, bearing witness to Lalique’s glassmaking art in its finest functional expression. Images are part of the description. Rings not included. Shipping insured and, if possible, to a pickup point.
