Monumental floor lamp in Liberty style with double lighting and opal glass globe – 20th century Description Elegant and dramatic antique floor lamp in Liberty style, characterized by a tall, slender metal structure with a dark brass finish and gilded details. The lamp features a refined fluted central column, enriched with turned decorative elements and an elaborate upper crown. The upper part is particularly interesting for the presence of two different light points. On the left side there is a curved arm ending in an elegant perforated metal lampshade, decorated with ornamental motifs. On the right side, a second arm shaped into volutes supports, by means of three decorative chains, a large circular ornamental element, enriched with floral and foliate motifs. In the center is a white opal glass globe, edged with a delicate gilded floral motif. The base is particularly important and decorative: it features a triangular shape with contoured corners and rich relief decoration with vegetal motifs and gilded scrolls. In the center of the base is fixed the long fluted column. The overall piece has remarkable decorative quality and a strong dramatic presence, typical of furnishings produced between the late 19th century and the first half of the 20th century. Era 20th century, in Liberty/Art Nouveau style. Materials Brunited and gilded metal, opal glass, decorative metal elements and chains. Conditions Good vintage condition, with normal signs of time and use, including light abrasions and variations in surface patina, consistent with the age of the item.
