Lamp - Magnificent Cascade Chandelier

We are putting up for auction a piece of lighting of great beauty and timeless elegance, perfect to elevate the sophistication of any interior space. It is an exquisite pendant ceiling lamp in a Mid-Century style, dating roughly to the 1970s, that stands out for its enveloping design and its impressive cascade of crystals. The upper frame features a central ring or crown with a sumptuous braided rope design in a bright gold finish, interwoven with subtle details in a textured green tone that provide a classic and refined color contrast very characteristic of the luxury design of the era. From the frame descends an impressive stepped cascade of multiple prism and crystal teardrops of high quality. Each crystal is meticulously cut to maximize light refraction. When the lamp is turned on (as shown in the images), the multiple internal light points pass through the crystals, projecting dazzling warm glints and beautiful plays of light and shadow in the form of rainbows on the surrounding walls. Technical Details and Condition: Type: Cascading ceiling chandelier. Style: Mid-Century Modern, Hollywood Regency, Neoclassical. Materials: Solid gold brass frame, textured decorative details and hand-cut clear crystal teardrops.
