This timepiece is a vintage Lanco A61 diver watch. Produced in Switzerland roughly between the late 1960s and early 1970s, it embodies the style of the classic skin-diver watches of the era. Movement: Mechanical automatic winding. It typically mounts a Swiss caliber of the era AS 2066, since Lanco became part of the SSIH group in the mid-1960s). Dial: Smoky gray/anthracite with sunburst finish, enriched by imposing faceted applied indices and baton hands with luminescent paste. Day-Date complication: Window at 3 o'clock showing the day of the week (in this case in Italian: VEN for Friday) and the day of the month. Bezel and Case: Black bidirectional rotating bezel with a sixty-minute scale (for divers). The 41 mm stainless steel case features a geometric, angular cushion shape typical of the 1970s. Bracelet: Integrated satin-finished stainless steel bracelet from the original era and the original crown. Working but the date of the last service is not known. Water resistance has not been tested.
