Landscape - Large Chinese Jade Carving in Jadeite ~...

Elegant and refined pendant in natural jadeite jade, a true piece of oriental art jewelry. The piece features artisanal craftsmanship that depicts a classic Shan Shui landscape (Mountain and Water), a traditional symbol of harmony, peace and prosperity. The pendant shows very fine relief details: a pagoda nestled among the mountains, monumental trees and a small bridge. The jade presents in a splendid delicate aqua/blue-green coloring (blue water style), with excellent luster and partial backlit translucence. The jewelry is completed by an elegant upper hook in gold-toned metal finely worked in the shape of a lotus flower.
