Laos Vietnam 1951/1975 - Asia (South Vietnam & Laos)...

Superb specialized Asia collection (South Vietnam / Republic of Vietnam & Kingdom of Laos) 1951-1975. The set is presented in its period red binder. Nearly all of this album consists of Never Hinged (NH) stamps, with their original, pristine gums (see detailed photos of the backs). Only a few very rare values show a slight trace (*) Highlights of the collection: Exceptional presentation with a large majority of four-blocks, strips, and partial sheets. Presence of many values with sheet margins, imprint inscriptions, and dated corner blocks (e.g., 1955, 1966, 1967). Some superb cancelled "First Day" blocks (Saigon FDC). Thematic and key values included: Refugees (The Raft of the Medusa), beautiful Air Mail series. Militaria (Armed Forces, battle scenes, allied flags USA/Australia/Korea). Flora & Fauna (Orchids, Birds, Water Buffalos). International (UNESCO, Interpol, Human Rights, WHO). Culture (Traditional costumes, Legend of the Trung sisters, ethnic minorities). Value and appraisal: A cataloging effort (the original small papers were removed for photos) allowed establishing a strict Yvert & Tellier valuation of over €1,300, even before counting the numerous duplicates in blocks present in the album! (Including high values such as No. 367 at €35, No. 497 at €25, or the Air Mail at €42). The entire lot has been photographed with care, including the backs of the highest-value stamps to guarantee MNH quality. What you see is exactly what you will receive. Shipping costs and dispatch: Very careful packing, reinforced with rigid cardboard. Shipped by registered mail with insurance and tracking number for a 100% secure transaction.
