Lapis lazuli

Lapis lazuli, Turquoise and Apatite – Egyptianizing Necklace – Ankh, Key of Life – Eternity & Starry Skies This necklace with Egyptian-inspired design stands out for its particularly colorful composition, blending turquoise blue, deep blue and green hues, highlighted with touches of ochre, orange and gold. In its center, the imposing Ankh cross in lapis-lazuli gives it a strong symbolic presence, directly inspired by the world of Ancient Egypt. The necklace is made with alternating African turquoise and apatite, worked in different shapes and sizes. The 14 African turquoise pebble beads display a remarkable mosaic of turquoise blue, orange, ochre and beige. Their irregular appearance and contrasting patterns make each bead unique. They alternate with 16 olive-shaped beads, mainly green shades, with darker marbling and earthy tones. Together they add a lot of depth and give the composition a particularly expressive mineral character. The 30 faceted round apatite beads reveal various shades of blue, from azure blue to a deeper blue. The facets catch the light delicately and create a bright contrast with the larger beads. Small golden elements punctuate the necklace regularly, bringing warm sparkles that highlight the different colors of the stones. In the center sits a large round bead with turquoise and orange tones, extended by a Ankh cross carved in lapis-lazuli. The Ankh reveals a natural material in deep blue, violet-blue and bluish-gray hues, punctuated by lighter areas and small golden inclusions. Its polished surface intentionally preserves the mineral character and natural variations of the stone. The combination of blues, greens and orange hues creates a very expressive necklace, where the richness of the stones enhances the deep blue of the Ankh. To know, The Ankh Cross – Ankh Emblematic symbol of Ancient Egypt, the Ankh, also called the crosier or life cross, represents life, the vital breath, regeneration and the continuity of existence. In Egyptian iconography, it frequently appears in the hands of deities and accompanies representations related to earthly life as well as the afterlife. It has thus become one of the most recognizable symbols of eternal life and immortality. Its characteristic shape combines a loop above a cruciform structure. Its symbolism is commonly linked to the passage between earthly existence and eternity as well as the perpetual renewal of life. Associated with the deep blue of lapis-lazuli, the Ankh gives this necklace a strong identity inspired by the sacred and symbolic universe of Ancient Egypt.
