Large 19th centruy French black slate, rouge marble and gilt metal drum head mantel clock, the 4.5" roman numeral dial with visible Brocot escapement, within an impressive drum head case inset with a bevel glazed front panel displaying the mercury pendulum flanked by gilt metal turned columns and pineapple finals upon a shaped plinth base, 21" high (the movement requires repair/replacement with the strike mechanism missing)
