Large Japanese Blue and White Dragon Double Handles Vase

Large Japanese blue-and-white glazed porcelain floor vase of baluster form with a flared trumpet neck and circular foot, fitted with a pair of applied sculptural dragon-form handles extending along the neck and shoulders. The body is decorated in underglaze blue with birds perched among flowering trees, peonies, foliage, and other botanical elements, with additional floral decoration on the reverse. The neck features stylized foliate and geometric motifs, while the foot is encircled by a scrolling floral border and the interior rim is decorated with cloud motifs and a geometric band.
