Large Ring with Untreated Sapphires & Diamonds in Gold, c. 1890

This ring, which we discovered in London and which we date to around 1890, also tells such a story. Its setting of ten dark blue sapphires and small diamonds refers to love, fidelity and constancy. The deep blue gemstones are exceptionally fine natural sapphires with a total weight of 4.92 carats. The stones are untreated and have a unique, velvety color.
