LARGE ROMAN GLASS BOTTLE WITH GLASS THREADS DECORATION

Ca. AD 300. A large pale green glass bottle with a squat cylindrical body, rounded shoulders and a concave base. A long, narrow cylindrical neck extends to a flaring, funnel-shaped mouth with a rounded rim. The upper section is encircled by numerous fine, applied horizontal glass threads.
