Geode slice — This magnificent sculpture represents the perfect fusion of nature's power and the elegance of design. An imposing slice of Brazilian amethyst geode, weighing almost 6.5 kg, has been expertly carved into a heart shape and mounted on a black metal pedestal that enhances its forms and colors. A display piece with a strong visual impact, ideal for enriching an environment with a touch of refinement and uniqueness. The specimen offers a complete view of the geological structure of the geode. The outer edge, dark and compact, represents the volcanic rock in which the cavity formed. Moving toward the center, one observes a band of gray-blue Chalcedony and white translucent Clear Quartz, which encircles the beating heart of the sculpture: a central, radiant cavity completely lined with amethyst crystals. The core of the work is undoubtedly the inner druse. The crystals, perfectly formed and finished, project toward the center with incredible vitality. Their tones range from the translucent lilac of the tips to the intense, deep violet at the base, creating a hypnotic play of color. The particular glassy luster of the crystals captures and reflects light, giving the piece a constant sense of vitality and brilliance. The centrally passing cavity adds another element of interest and depth. The choice to carve the slice into a heart shape is no accident: it transforms a precious mineral specimen into an object with strong symbolic value, speaking of love and passion. The work, while clean, respects the natural pattern of the color bands and the arrangement of the crystals, enhancing the raw material without distorting it. It is a dialogue between human skill and the perfection of geology. Thanks to its substantial size and the custom support, this Heart of Amethyst qualifies as a true piece of furniture. The minimalist design of the black metal pedestal creates an elegant contrast with the organic forms and vibrant colors of the mineral, making it suitable for both modern and classical contexts, from private collections to professional studios or prestigious living areas. Purchasing this piece means not only owning a high-quality mineral but also possessing a unique work of art, a fragment of Earth's history transformed into a universal message. An unforgettable gift for a special person or an investment for one’s collection that will never go unnoticed.
