Silver coin of 5 Lati, considered one of the most emblematic issues of the Republic of Latvia during the interwar period. The reverse shows the national coat of arms of Latvia held by a lion and a griffin, crowned by three stars symbolizing the historical regions of the country, together with the denomination of 5 Lati and the issue date. The specimen preserves full, well-defined reliefs, with abundant original luster visible under a soft silver patina.
