She approaches art as a self-taught artist since 2013. Her starting medium is graphite, through which she immediately seeks the realism of faces, while later turning to other media such as pastel and painting. She participates in many group shows across Italy and internationally and also exhibits her works in important Italian museums. Her works are part of several private collections around the world. Four solo exhibitions to date. She has collaborated on creating a book cover for a poetry collection in 2015 and for a philosophy book cover in 2023. Winner and finalist in several artistic competitions, at national and international levels. Laura describes her work as follows: “I prefer oil painting for its reflective nature: it allows me to build the image step by step, changing, refining, perfecting. Sometimes I use pastels on cardboard to capture the subject’s essence directly and instinctively. My style is realistic, but my painting tells inner worlds, hidden emotions, and stories to decipher. My works move between dreamlike landscapes and figures immersed in their thoughts, accompanied by shadows that reveal what is not seen: desires, fears, memories. Each scene is born from photographs of young subjects and takes shape through symbols, objects, and animals that give voice to a memory or to a deep feeling.
