Lauscha Germany - Vase - Glass - Art Deco blown-glass lamp

Beautiful and authentic Art Deco oil-lamp blown Lauscha vase dating from the early 20th century, made in Central Germany in Lauscha. This handmade antique vase is 'vor der Lampe geblasen'. A hollow glass tube was heated in the flame of an oil lamp and blown into shape with air so hot that it could be manually blown into a form. Through blowing and turning these splendid small vases and other objects were created. The museum in Lauscha is full of them. The vase is in excellent condition. 11.5 x 6.5 cm.
