Lava Stone & Labradorite - Nordic Necklace – Thor's...

Lava Stone & Labradorite - Nordic Necklace Thor's Hammer – Mjöllnir & Valknut – The Power of the Gods Ancient Force & Divine Protection. This Nordic necklace stands out for the contrast between black lava stone and labradorite, enhanced by gold-toned elements and a bold pendant representing Mjöllnir, Thor's famous hammer, symbol of strength, protection and divine power in Norse mythology. The necklace is composed of round beads of varying sizes, carefully arranged to create a harmonious alternation between the two stones. The lava stone, a deep black, has a naturally porous surface punctuated by small cavities characteristic of its volcanic origin. Its matte finish and mineral texture give the necklace a raw, powerful character. The labradorite, with soft shades ranging from light gray to smoky gray and slightly greenish gray, reveals a smooth, glossy surface, sometimes crossed by small natural inclusions. Its mineral tones contrast with the intensity of the volcanic black. The whole is enhanced by finely decorated gold elements, bringing brightness and elegance to this characterful composition. At the center of the necklace stands a massive, richly worked pendant depicting Mjöllnir, the legendary hammer of the god Thor, one of the major deities of Norse mythology. Made in a metal with silvered and gold finishes, the pendant features particularly elaborate decorative work, combining reliefs, engravings and ornaments inspired by Nordic art. The head of the hammer, broad and slightly curved, is covered with squared geometric motifs, accompanied by interlacings and stylized scrolls. Its edges are outlined by small decorative reliefs that emphasize its ancient and mythological character. On one side appears a gold Valknut, composed of three interlaced triangles. This symbol is traditionally associated with Odin’s realm, warriors, and Nordic beliefs related to the passage to the afterlife. On the other side is a gold motif evoking the Tiwaz rune (ᛏ), associated with the god Tyr, courage, honor and justice. The handle of the hammer features a finely squared pattern, hinting at a weave or interlaced work. Its upper part is adorned with stylized motifs, framed by gold elements, extending the Nordic aesthetic of the pendant. Specifications: Circular length: 70 cm Lava stone: round beads - diameter: 14 mm Labradorite: round beads - diameter: 6 mm Pendant - Mjöllnir, Thor's hammer, with silvered and gold design - dimensions: 40 x 32 x 8 mm Ornaments: Nordic interlacings, geometric motifs, Valknut and symbol evoking the Tiwaz rune. Total weight: 94.34 g. Carefully handmade – One-of-a-kind piece. A jewel box and a protective pouch will be included. Photographs are an integral part of the description. Note, In Norse mythology, Mjöllnir is Thor’s sacred weapon, the god of thunder, protector of humans and defender of order against the forces of chaos. Thor's hammer was also worn as an amulet, especially during the Viking era, as a symbol of protection, power and attachment to Nordic religious traditions. The association of Thor’s hammer, the Valknut and runic-inspired motifs gives this pendant a particularly evocative symbolism of the world of the gods and the warriors of the North. In contemporary symbolic traditions, the stones included in this necklace are also associated with different qualities: Lava stone: grounding, stability, courage and inner strength. Labradorite: symbolic protection, intuition, balance and clairvoyance. The overall piece forms a necklace of character, bringing together the evocative power of Nordic traditions, the authenticity of natural stones and the decorative richness of Thor's hammer.
