Lawrence, Kansas. Bank of Wm. H. R. Lykins. 186x $3. PMG Choice Uncirculated

Lawrence, Kansas. Bank of Wm. H. R. Lykins. 186x $3. PMG Choice Uncirculated 63. Remainder. No. None. A tough note from a rare issuer out of Lawrence active during the 1860s. It has been over 15 years since we last offered a Remainder on this institution representative of the same denomination as the present lot. That same example which sold in 2011 realized almost $2,600 by the time bidding had ended despite being the technical inferior of this exact specimen which has earned an assigned grade of Choice Uncirculated 63 from PMG. Estimate: $400 - $600. Provenance: From the Caine Collection.

Estimate:£181.22
