Lawrence Weiner (1942) - Golf as we know it

Lawrence Weiner. This is a mixed-media technique on archival paper by the great Lawrence Weiner, one of the fathers of American conceptual art, whose works are present in all the major museum institutions on five continents. The work in question, executed in 2007, is typical of the Master’s expression and measures 26x41 cm. The work is published in the volume The Art of Golf, Cleek, edited by Gianni Salvaterra with an interview with Gillo Dorfles, Edizioni Artestampa Arte, 2007, catalog of the exhibition held at the Royal Golf Silver Trophy, Ponterosso Challenge, Trieste, from June 22 to 24, 2007. An excerpt of the publication will be delivered with the work together with a certificate of authenticity issued by a prominent auction house.
