The set consists of two coordinated masterpieces: 1. Jewelry Safe / Rectangular Box (13.5 x 9 x 4 cm). Equipped with a refined gilded-brass mounting with an antique front closure in the shape of a garland with a knotted ribbon. The interior reveals a precious finish with hand-painted classic roses on both the bottom and under the lid. 2. Emptying Tray / Coordinated plate (12.7 x 9.7 x 2 cm) with beaded edge in gold embossing. Decoration and Craftsmanship: The pieces are embellished with the famous and highly sought-after motif "Oiseaux de Paradis" (Birds of Paradise), the most luxurious and expensive decoration of the Parisian workshop. The exotic birds with multicolored plumage and flowering branches are made with thick and vibrant relief enamels, applied on a background entirely covered in deep-gold leaf, worked with elegant alternations between glossy areas and satin-finished garlands in geometric patterns.
