A glass of barely touched white wine, an empty cup. She rested her chin on her fist and looks down the street, her eyes elsewhere. Behind the window, the regulars read their newspaper and don’t see her. She awaits news, and time does not pass. Varda filmed Cléo wandering from cafe to cafe for two hours, before a result that would change everything. This one is roughly halfway. Blood-red awning, woven rattan chairs, Haussmannian white façades. The black dress and the hair concentrate all the dark tones, right in the center of the canvas. Le Yack, emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, aka Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) of Orléans. He is an artistic director in publishing and the web. Instagram @leyack45.
