Le Yack - Last Show, Heavy Rain - Hand-signed

A motel room, somewhere in California, on a rainy evening. Seated on the edge of the bed, in a tight yellow dress, a brunette with red lips slowly removes her long white gloves. On the nightstand, the key to room 12. At her feet, a suitcase she has not yet opened. Outside, the neon sign « MOTEL » glows red beneath a palm tree, and headlights have just stopped in front of the window. That’s the whole backdrop of American crime novels, from The Postman Always Rings Twice to 1950s road movies: the motel as a place of passage, a secret rendezvous, or a getaway.
