All auctions / Contemporary Art / Le Yack - Safety distance - 100% Handmade!

Original oil painting on canvas. Unique work. Canvas entirely handmade. 60 x 60 cm. Signed by the artist. Certificate. (The interior visual is an AI visualization provided for reference.) Under the canopy of a gas station, a blonde woman in a red dress and black heels holds a bag by its edge. She looks at the ground, not turning around. In the background, a man in a dark suit stands near a black sedan, at a safe distance. Yellow and green neon lights illuminate the pavement; the night is almost complete. The title speaks to what is at stake between them: a distance no one yet crosses. One thinks of Gas, Hopper’s gas station, and the film noir where the slightest gesture says more than the dialogues. A canvas of calm tension, where the night keeps its secret. Delivery information: The canvas is shipped rolled without a frame, carefully protected, placed in a reinforced rigid tube. This shipping method guarantees optimal protection of the work during transport. The buyer will be able to mount the canvas on a frame at a local framer according to their preferred presentation.
