Leandro Olano Polychromatic gaze, 2026 Oil on canvas 60 × 25 cm Signed in the lower right corner Original unique work, entirely handmade Accompanied by artist's certificate of authenticity Ships unframed (rolled) for maximum transport security The work is a vertical narrow close-up of a female or androgynous face, almost filling the pictorial field. The blue eyes look slightly upward and at the viewer with direct intensity. The construction of volume is not based on realistic modeling but on juxtaposed color planes and thick, dense, and gestural brushstrokes. Reds, greens, blues, yellows, and pinks overlap and clash without a smooth transition: the forehead, cheeks, nose, and neck fragment into chromatic blotches that recall Fauvist and expressionist logic. The background and the edges of the canvas continue that same logic of blocks of pure color. The result is a face that does not describe a concrete identity but an intense emotional presence, almost aggressive in its chromaticism. Technique: oil on canvas with thick impasto and evident hand-work. Format: 60 × 25 cm, vertical narrow, identical to that of the previous work. Date: 2026 (recent work). Visible signature + certificate of authenticity Shipping unframed: practical and reasonable decision for protection.
