LEDMansion - Arcade Icons Set

Subject and Theme: “Arcade Icons Set” is a lot composed of four luminous works dedicated to some of the most recognizable icons of video game culture. The first two works celebrate the Pac Man universe, with the yellow protagonist placed in his famous maze and surrounded by the colorful ghosts. The other two reinterpret two instantly recognizable symbols of the Super Mario imagination: the star and the red mushroom. Each subject is transformed by a neon-effect LED element that follows its profile and amplifies its visual presence, creating a compact, coherent and strongly pop collection. The result is a lot that unites nostalgia, arcade culture and contemporary design, turning screen-born symbols into true luminous wall-ready presences. Technique and Creation: The four works are made on a rigid 1 cm Forex backing, with a transparent, protective and scratch-resistant resin coating on the front. The 12V neon-effect LED integration enhances the main subjects and creates a bright, even light. In the two Pac Man paintings, the yellow LED highlights the protagonist and converses with the colors of the maze and the ghosts. The star is highlighted by a warm luminous contour, while the red mushroom is enhanced by a light that traces its characteristic silhouette. The works are designed to function both individually and as a complete composition. Displayed side by side, they form a small luminous gallery dedicated to the history of gaming. Inspiration and Curiosity: This lot comes from the meeting of two universes that have marked different generations of players. Pac Man represents one of the origins of arcade culture: mazes, chases, scores and endless games. Its yellow silhouette has, over time, become a universal symbol of video games. The star and the mushroom evoke the world of Super Mario and two of its most iconic elements. The star stands for energy, invincibility and possibility, while the mushroom recalls growth, transformation and power up. Together in the same lot, these four subjects tell a part of the history of video game culture through simple and instantly recognizable forms. The LED light brings these symbols out of the screen and turns them into contemporary art objects, able to create atmosphere even when the game is off. A lot intended for retro gaming enthusiasts, pop culture collectors and for those who want to create a wall dedicated to the icons that defined the arcade and console imagination.
