At the same time, from 1942, he contributed to various series such as The Sub-Mariner, Human Torch and Don Winslow. He then turned to a career in advertising. In 1957, for the Chicago Tribune-New York News Syndicate, he created On Stage, later renamed Mary Perkins, On Stage, a series set in the show business world featuring Mary Perkins, a beautiful and charming actress, which he drew until 1979.
