Leonetto Cappiello - Chocolat Klaus - 1970s

This extraordinary 1970s reissue poster celebrates one of the most famous and revolutionary subjects created by the master Leonetto Cappiello, universally recognized as the father of modern poster art. This design marked a watershed moment: for the first time in advertising, the product (chocolate) is not shown directly, but is evoked through a powerful, bold, and unforgettable image. The famously green-dressed lady riding a red steed against a deep black background creates a magnetic color contrast, capable of catching the eye from any distance. The poster is in generally good condition. It shows slight signs of aging on the edges that do not compromise the aesthetics of the work (please carefully review the detailed photos for a proper personal assessment).
