LeRoy Neiman’s distinctive style made him one of the most recognizable artists to interpret the world of sport. Created in 1973, this framed serigraph, titled “Red Goal,” depicts Detroit Red Wings forward Henry Boucha celebrating a goal, complete with his signature headband. The piece is numbered 125/300 and bears a prominent pencil signature from Neiman in the bottom right. Following Neiman’s death in 2012, his extensive body of sports-related work continues to be celebrated, with his subjects including such sporting legends as Wayne Gretzky and Muhammad Ali. The piece is unframed.
