Beautiful set of two large, vintage die-cast metal oil tankers in the iconic Shell livery (scale 1:43). Both models share the same impressive size and form a wonderful whole for the collector of antique toy and petroleum memorabilia. This lot includes: 1. CIJ (France) - Renault Fainéant Citerne Shell (Ref. 3/72): Large version, produced in France around 1958-1960. Red-yellow-black color scheme with 'Shell' print on the sides. Fully metal chassis. 2. Matchbox Lesney (England) - Major Pack No. 8 Thornycroft 2400 Gallon Trailer Tanker: Large, robust version with the text "Made in England by Lesney" on the underside. Equipped with a Shell logo on the rear of the tank. The trailer can be detached from the cab. Condition of the objects: • Both models are in good vintage condition for their age. • The trucks roll smoothly. • Sold without original packaging.
