Liana - Unter der Sakurablüte (Sakura) XXL

Title: Under the Sakura Blossom (Sakura) Artist: Liana Nakashidze Dimensions: 100 x 160 cm (Large format) Technique: Special mixed technique (oil & acrylic on special acrylic canvas) / Impasto Year: 2026 Condition: New, directly from the artist's studio Framing: No (offered without a frame) Concept & Poetic Narration The painting depicts a path that needs no map. The boat – as a symbol of infinite boundaries and the inner journey – glides quietly through a green, almost mystical space. This space is not just the external surroundings; it is the architecture of the soul toward which we strive for a lifetime. This 2026 work reminds us that “home” is not a place you go to, but a state in which you “are.” Under the magnificent, cascading canopy of blooming cherry blossoms (Sakura), the boat creates a calm, intimate moment on the water. The work blends East Asian poetic philosophy with the dynamics of European modern impasto painting. What makes this work special The special mixed technique (oil/acrylic) developed by the artist creates a striking structural depth that gives the painting a living, dynamic effect. The Sakura blossoms are built up with bold impasto, creating a tactile 3D texture. Depending on the angle of light, the surface of the special acrylic canvas reflects light differently, further intensifying the illusion of water and motion. The deep green-teal shimmering background provides a pleasing contrast to the delicate pink and white tones as well as the red color accent of the boat.
