Collector's item: beautiful, very special edition of the screen print 'Coco-II, Testimony in Black & White'. Framed it is a jewel on your wall and a valuable addition to your collection! The original painting (which this screen print is an interpretation of) was named by the British art press in 2012 as one of the ten best portraits of 2012. In a very limited edition, there are only 25 numbered copies of this screen print made by Lita Cabellut. This offering is number 13/25. The painting is depicted in both art books surrounding the series 'Coco, Testimony in Black and White' that have been published. Lita Cabellut (1961) has for years been among the international top! Born in Spain and at the age of 19 left Spain to develop herself further as an artist in the Netherlands. After completing the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, Cabellut settled permanently in the Netherlands. In 2011 Cabellut painted the series 'Coco, Testimony in Black & White', a series of 50 oil paintings that were sold in Paris in a short time. This was reason for the Algemeen Dagblad to publish an article about her that was picked up by the editors of the talk show Pauw & Witteman; in the broadcast of 4 November 2011 Cabellut was their guest. In 2020 she was chosen as 'Artist of the Year 2021'. Internationally Cabellut is regarded as one of the three most influential living Spanish-speaking artists. Cabellut has received several international prizes.
