Elegant hand-painted enameled porcelain sculpture by Lladró in Spain, model no. 1611 – “Courting Cranes.” The composition features two cranes among reeds and delicate applied flowers, in a soft palette of white, green, beige and pink. The slender silhouettes of the birds, the precise modelling of the plumage, and the numerous small floral elements are characteristic of Lladró’s naturalistic creations. The base bears the blue Lladró mark “Hand Made in Spain – DAISA 1988,” as well as the number 1611. The model is generally referenced around 1989, the date 1988 corresponding to the copyright of the design. The piece presents a very good overall visual condition. No significant chipping, obvious loss, or restoration was observed during the examination. The beaks, necks, reeds, leaves and small flowers are particularly fine and fragile; the detailed photographs allow for a precise appreciation of the item’s condition and are an integral part of the description. Dimensions: approximately 27.5 × 15.5 × 9.5 cm Weight: 537 g Brand / reference: Lladró – model 1611 Origin: Spain Material: enameled porcelain Era: late 1980s Original box: not present Beautiful Lladró decorative piece, sought after for its especially delicate composition and the finesse of its floral elements. The item will be carefully packed, with reinforced protection suitable for the fragility of the beaks, reeds and flowers.
