H: 47 cm. In hervorragendem, sammelwürdigem Originalzustand. | LOHÉ, YVES (1947) “The Butterfly Woman” Patinated and partially polished bronze combined with solid art glass, colored throughout in vivid shades of green, blue, and violet. Mounted on a round, relief-decorated bronze plinth. An exceptionally elegant and delicate composite sculpture. The graceful youthful female figure in patinated bronze is depicted in a floating, dance-like pose. Her outstretched arms merge seamlessly into the monumental butterfly wings, formed from two large solid elements of polychrome art glass. The glass is distinguished by its flowing transitions from rich spring green to deep cobalt blue and delicate violet tones along the edges, revealing a remarkable luminosity when backlit. The reverse side of the green glass element bears an engraved signature “Lohe.” Height: 47 cm. In outstanding, collector-worthy original condition. The fine bronze patina is impeccably preserved and accentuates the anatomical details of the figure. The massive glass elements are completely intact, without cracks, fractures, or chips along the delicate edges. Fine air bubble inclusions within the glass structure are consistent with the manufacturing process. SHIPPING TO THE USA MUST BE ARRANGED BY THE BUYER.
