Long Vintage Byzantine Pattern Gold Chain, Italian, c. 1990

Gold chains are an almost indispensable part of any jewellery box. Whether worn alone or with a pendant - chains are always beautiful and versatile. This high-quality vintage chain made from solid yellow gold is no exception. The chain is made from 8-karat gold and features a classic Byzantine chain pattern of artfully intertwined links. It is a closed, i.e. endless, classic Byzantine necklace with a length of around 90 cm and a slightly angular cross-section. We discovered the necklace with its impressive weight of 47.8 g here in Berlin.
