Elegant vintage Longines Quartz, datable approximately to the 1980s, an expression of the ultra-flat, dress-watch production with which the Maison of Saint-Imier interpreted quartz technology while maintaining a highly classical aesthetic. The round gold-plated case measures 33 × 36 mm and features slim, elongated lugs. The champagne/gold dial is particularly refined, with a delicate cross-grain finish, applied baton indices, and two thin dark hands. The absence of a seconds hand and date keeps the design minimal and exceptionally clean. At 6 o'clock the cursive “Quartz” is present, while along the lower edge there is the Swiss marking. The movement is a Swiss Longines quartz with two hands. Without a photograph of the movement or an internal reference I do not consider it correct to attribute a specific caliber: Longines used several families of quartz movements in this type of dress watch during the 1980s. The case back is stainless steel and bears the number 24552659. The black crocodile-effect strap shows marked wear, cracks, and abrasions, while the gold-tone buckle bears the Longines logo. The watch shows overall normal signs compatible with age. Documentation related to a recent service is not available; water resistance and battery life are not guaranteed.
