Longines - Classics - No reserve price - 599371 - Men - 1970-1979

Interesting vintage Longines Quartz characterized by a decisively particular aesthetic configuration, with a slim, shaped stainless steel case and a wide golden/champagne dial with black Roman numerals. The case measures 33 × 39 mm and features a design typical of the 1970s, with short lugs integrated into the profile and a very thin construction, conceived as an elegant dress watch. The stainless steel case back bears the engravings “STAINLESS STEEL”, “11” and “599371”. The dial is the most distinctive element of the piece: it shows a very pronounced and widespread patina, with oxidations and chromatic alterations that have created an irregular, highly textured surface. The Longines signature with the winged hourglass remains visible at 9 o’clock, while the large black Roman numerals and the slender dark hands produce a strong contrast. At 3 o’clock you can see the inscription SWISS MADE. The watch uses a Swiss quartz movement with hours and minutes indication. Since a photograph of the movement is not available, we do not attribute a specific caliber. The case shows scratches and normal signs of use consistent with its age. The black strap is a replacement and shows deterioration especially on the inner side. No documented servicing interventions. Water resistance not tested and not guaranteed.
