Los Angeles Dodgers - MLB - 1992 - Ticket

Here I offer an extraordinary time-historical document and sports history collectible: an unused full ticket for the Los Angeles Dodgers' home game on May 3, 1992 at Dodger Stadium. The game had to be canceled due to the L.A. Riots (Los Angeles Riots of 1992) in connection with the Rodney King verdict and was moved to July 8. It is a sought-after piece of pop and U.S. time history that powerfully documents the links between sport and historic current events. Details of the item: Event: 1992 L.A. Dodgers (Game No. 16 – originally scheduled for Sunday, May 3, 1992) Special feature: Canceled game due to the L.A. Riots ("Canceled Due to L.A. Riots") Ticket Type: Full Ticket (unpunched full ticket) Certification: PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator) Grade: VG-EX 4 (Very Good - Excellent 4) PSA Certification Number: 69975951 Condition & Authenticity: The ticket is in very good overall condition for its age and is professionally authenticated by PSA, graded, and sealed in an acrylic holder (slab). The PSA label explicitly notes the historical cancellation reason ("Canceled Due to L.A. Riots").
