Hermès - a black Clemence leather 'Birkin 35' handbag, 2011, crafted in supple finely grained black leather, of the houses iconic softly structured trapezoidal form, with twin rolled leather top handles, flap closure with signature sangles and central turn-lock fastening, polished palladium-plated hardware, and accompanying leather covered padlock and clochette, the interior lined in tonal black leather and fitted with a zipped compartment and opposing open slip pockt, stamped HERMES PARIS MADE IN FRANCE beneath front flap, with blind date stamp with a square and circle shape (see images for stamp icons), corresponding to 2011, alongside the additional stamped characters '172 E', measuring 35cm wide.
