Lot 96 - A Chinese framed embroidered silk panel

The framed panel finely embroidered in coloured silk threads with a bird perched amongst flowering branches and berries against a green ground, surrounded by decorative floral and geometric borders. The second panel embroidered with colourful peonies and stylised butterflies against a pale blue ground, enclosed within a black border decorated with floral scrolls and geometric motifs. Framed panel measuring 40 × 43 cm.
