Lot of (12) Fr. 1936-A* to 1936-L*. 1995 $2 Federal Reserve Star Notes.

Lot of (12) Fr. 1936-A* to 1936-L*. 1995 $2 Federal Reserve Star Notes. Choice Uncirculated to Gem Uncirculated. Premium Millennium Federal Reserve Set. Serial Number - 20001682. A fairly rare set from the Bureau of Engraving & Printing that is scarcely offered. This set contains (12) $2 Federal Reserve Star Notes with one note from each district. The notes in this lot were issued under the Series of 1995 and feature the Withrow - Rubin signature combination. Each note features a serial number that begins with 2000 reflecting the year 2000 and the new Millennium. The remainder of the serial number contains the digits "1682" which indicates the position of this set out of 7,999 produced. Throw in the fact that Atlanta was the only district that had Replacements produced for general circulation, the notes from the remaining 11 districts each account for extremely limited printings that are scarcely offered. Estimate: $400 - $600.

Estimate:£0.74
