Louis Majorelle, "Jonquille" Walnut Vitrine, C. 1900 Louis Majorelle (French, 1859-1926), circa 1900. Art Nouveau "Jonquille" vitrine or salon cabinet in walnut, having a single glass door cabinet with three shelves, and pleated silk lining; flanked by daffodil topped stalk form columns with sinuous leaves. Not accompanied by upper cabinet. Apparently unmarked. Approximate dimensions: 68 3/4 x 41 3/4 x 18 1/2 in. (174.6 x 106 x 47 cm.) Provenance: Private Collection of Mary Ann Campbell, Temple, GA.
