Faithful to the artist's expressive and spontaneous touch, the composition dynamically captures a street life scene where movement competes with color. The knife- and brush-work textures give this urban view a lively, decidedly modern energy. Biographie de l'artiste: Born in Léhon (Côtes-d'Armor) in 1978, Ludovic Labbé is a self-taught painter. After working for several years as a copying artist for various Parisian galleries, he chose to devote himself entirely to his own creations starting in 1999.
