Luigi Savino (1930) - Napoli Palazzo Donn'Anna

Original painting by Luigi Savino (Naples, 1930), depicting a evocative view of Palazzo Donn’Anna in Naples. The work represents one of the most characteristic subjects of Neapolitan vedutismo: Palazzo Donn’Anna overlooking the sea, with a boat and two fishermen in the foreground and several sails in the background. Particularly pleasing is the rendering of light and reflections on the water, achieved through a warm palette and careful detail in the architectural features and in the figures. The work is executed in oil on panel, signed “L. Savino” at the bottom right and bearing in the same spot the autograph inscription “Napoli Palazzo Donn’Anna”. Dimensions of the painting: 34.8 × 24.6 cm approximately. Overall dimensions with frame: 39 × 29 cm approximately. The piece presents itself in good overall condition, with normal signs consistent with its age. Please examine the photographs carefully, which are an integral part of the description. The gold frame shows signs of aging and is provided for free as a gift. The work will be carefully packed and protected for shipping. We do not ship outside Europe.
