Luxurious Antique Gold Bracelet with Diamonds & Pearls, c. 1890

Pearls, diamonds and gold have been among the classic materials used by goldsmiths for centuries. This bracelet also relies entirely on the beauty of its materials. Six beautiful pearls in a pressed bouton shape glisten on the middle section in a platinum-colored shimmer. Alternating between them are five old mine cut diamonds with a total weight of around 2.25 carats. Bars with smaller diamonds separate the large gems from one another. The settings and the bracelet in the classic curved pattern are made of high-carat gold, which feels pleasantly heavy around the wrist. An additional fine gold plating gives it a particularly rich sheen, with a velvety surface that is known as "bloomed gold" in the English-speaking world. We discovered the bracelet in Geneva. Its minimalist design makes it surprisingly modern to this day. The clasp holds securely, and a safety chain provides additional security when worn. It comes with an independent certificate confirming the quality of the materials.
